Jesse and Rachel Leos of East Dallas are adopting — guess you can see that from the picture, but just to be clear, they are not really hoarders, just planning a great big garage sale. Let us explain …
The couple plans to bring home two babies between 6-24 months old from Uganda. Rachel tells us that they expect the adoption expenses to run about $30,000, so in order to raise some needed funds, they are holding a huge (Wait. HUGE!) garage sale this weekend, Friday and Saturday Oct. 7 and 8 at 6250 Anita.
About 30 families wishing to help the Leos have contributed items for the sale, Rachel says.
“We have been blessed with so many items and donations, my husband is likening our house to an episode of hoarders right now, but we are really excited for this sale to help with our adoption expenses and to raise awareness about adoption.”
