Woodrow mom Floann Chapman (mother of senior Madison Matthews) reports that former Woodrow football star Greg McCoy offered BCS Fiesta Bowl tickets Monday night to his high school football coach and his wife (Bobbie and Barb Estes) and neighborhood residents Jan and Willis Winters, who were featured in an ESPN video about Sergio Kindle Sunday. McCoy is a cornerback with TCU who has a couple of years of eligibility left and is reported to be TCU’s fastest player; he was one of TCU’s defensive leaders for the game with seven tackles. TCU lost to Boise State 17-10.

Meanwhile, Chapman reports that the Estes and Winters families don’t have tickets to Thursday night’s BCS Championship Game between Alabama and Texas, which features Kindle playing defense for UT. They were in Phoenix for Monday’s TCU game in Phoenix, and Chapman says if you have an inside line on tickets to the Thursday game in Pasadena’s Rose Bowl, the Estes and Winters are all ears.
