During the forum, which was hosted by U.S. Rep. Pete Sessions, a Dallas Republican, students got to see the inner workings of government and debate public policy. They attended meetings at the White House, the Pentagon, the U.S. Drug Enforcement Agency, INTERPOL and the Taiwanese Embassy.

Students were chosen for the program based on their academic performance, community involvement and leadership qualities.
