Katharine Houpt, who graduated from Woodrow in 2001, has recieved the Hilgos Award and the $5,000 John W. Kurtich Travel Scholarship.
Houpt is pursuing a master of art therapy degree from the Art Institute of Chicago. She graduated from Evergreen College in 2005. Her parents, Stephen and Sherry Houpt, lives in Greenland Hills.
