Woodrow Wilson High School’s fall sports collected a number of awards this season. The Wildcats football and volleyball teams were both 12-5A district champions, with a number of individual awards as well.

On the gridiron, senior quarterback Cade Fennegan was district MVP, joined on the district’s first team by defensive lineman John Keeter and Cole McCrary, linebacker Clarence Rockmore, defensive back Sean Berry, deep snapper Jordan Estes, running back Christian Ontiveros, receiver Matthew Best and offensive lineman Chris Juarez.

Defensive end Z’Core Brooks, linebacker Jarius Williams, defensive back Lucas Woltjen, receiver Zacori Alexander and offensive lineman James Medin were all second team all-district performers.  Defensive lineman Jordan Estes, linebacker Daunte Smith, receiver Curtis Thomas and offensive lineman Francisco Solis were honorable mention for the all-district team.

On the volleyball court, senior Paula Hammond was district MVP, while Audrey Patronella was named most valuable hitter, Tara Patton was most valuable blocker and Victoria Casas was the most valuable libero. The first team all-district honored three wildcats, with Alexa Zotos, Amanda Blewett and Elizabeth Blewett earning accolades. Abigail Giles, Alexandra Hammond, and Sarah Cameron were awarded second team all-district.
