This winter break, the Dallas Independent School District will offer students free meals at 26 locations, including some in East Dallas.
Dan D. Rogers Elementary School, as well as nearby Charles A. Gill and Oran A. Roberts, will provide breakfast and lunch beginning Dec. 26 through Jan. 4.
Breakfast will be served from 8-9 a.m. and lunch will be served from 11 a.m. to noon.
The menu includes items like bagels, muffins and fruit for breakfast and chicken, mashed potatoes and veggies for lunch.
