First, it’s celebrating its 15th anniversary on Sept. 28 with an anniversary party featuring food and craft cocktails, plus cooking and mixology demonstrations from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. The event will also feature a live performance from Downtown Fever, an electrifying group with a repertoire spanning from the ’60s up to today’s most popular hits.

Later, on Oct. 2, Abacus is teaming up with California wineries Nickel and Nickel and Far Niente for a wine dinner event.

Chef Kent Rathbun, who owns the restaurant, and his team will be offering a special four-course menu to complement the wines. President Bruce Mooers will be on hand to discuss the two sister wineries and to walk diners through their portfolios of reds and whites.

The event is Oct. 2 at 6:30 p.m. Tickets are $190 per person, plus tax and gratuity. Reservations are required. Contact Shannon Tinsley at 972.673.0823 or shannont@kentrathbun.com to RSVP.
