The Dallas Parks board yesterday approved the comprehensive plan to light White Rock Lake. As we told you a couple days ago, the lights will be installed (and some old ones removed) in phases, but there is no set timetable, and everything past the first phase is dependent on funds becoming available. In other words, don’t hold your breath. See the most recent public meeting and hear some neighbors’ existing concerns in regard to the plan here. Read the Morning News article about the Parks meeting here. And for those of you who have asked, the curfew at White Rock Lake and other parks is midnight to 5 a.m.
