White Rock Lake Trail closure.
Update (Oct. 22): The maintenance project has been delayed until Nov. 3-4 due to “availability of critical equipment.” Everything else about the project is the same. Crews expect work to begin in the evening Nov. 3.
A portion of the White Rock Lake Trail will be closed next week to allow Oncor to perform some line maintenance.
The area that will be closed Oct. 20 is between T&P Hill and Plaza Solana. The SoPac Trail may be used as an alternative.
House Bill 4150 requires all transmission lake crossings to meet clearance compliance, so Oncor will be raising a water crossing near the pedestrian bridge and trail to meet the requirements. The company expects the work to begin the evening of Oct. 20 and finish by the morning of Oct. 21.
