Editor’s Note: We just received word at 1 p.m. Friday, Nov. 9, that the Festival has been canceled due to high winds and the expected rain this weekend. Apparently, Porta Pottys were blowing over during the setup Friday, so the organizers will look for another weekend in 2013 for the event.
White Rock Lake Festival organizers today announced the full line-up of the two-day event at Boy Scout Hill next weekend. Admission cost $5, and that buys 16 hours of entertainment. What an outstanding deal! Plus, the proceeds go to the White Rock Lake Foundation.
The festivities also include gourmet food trucks, pet adoption, face painting and arts and crafts. Children under 5 are admitted free.
