The Senior Source is up for a communication award from the Center for Nonprofit Management in part for a publicity stunt the seniors advocacy group pulled to celebrate its 50th anniversary last year.
And we do mean stunt. Fifty seniors jumped 35,000 feet from an airplane to mark the occasion. We can’t help but wonder if former Advocate photographer Benjamin Hager contributed to the nomination with this video he shot of the skydive. Watch it again. It’s an inspiring one.
