Just under 1,500 tickets and 113 T-shirts were sold, sponsorship revenue totaled $39,500, and in-kind donations from media partners for free advertising amounted to $27,551, according to a press release. (Full disclosure: Advocate Media was one of those sponsors.) After deducting expenses, the tour brought in a net revenue of $67,180.91. Proceeds from the event are expected to help pay for teaching assistants, field trips, literacy programs, STEM nights, garden club, mindfulness programs and guest speakers at Hexter Elementary School off Peavy Road.

“These funds will make a significant impact, benefiting the Hexter Elementary PTA and supporting our mission to enhance educational opportunities for our children,” White Rock Home Tour 2025 Chair Chanda Rousseau said in the press release.

Rousseau continued, “This success would not have been possible without the generous support of our sponsors, the warm hospitality of our homeowners who graciously opened their doors, and the tireless efforts of our volunteers. Your collective commitment and enthusiasm have not only propelled this event to new heights but also continue to foster a vibrant community spirit. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to each and every one of you for your invaluable contributions. Your support is the cornerstone of our ongoing efforts to create enriching educational experiences for the students at Hexter Elementary.”

The tour included six homes in close proximity to White Rock Lake, including on Yosemite Lane, Peavy Road, Bridget Drive, Vinemont Street, Rogue Way and Santa Clara Drive.
