Spring is just a few weeks away, and that means the return of our neighborhood farmers markets.
The White Rock farmers market at 9150 Garland Road will debut from 8 a.m. to noon March 13. It will take place every Saturday until Dec. 18. Shop local produce, meats, cheeses and artisanal goods from local vendors who come from within 150 miles of Dallas.
“With fresh food offerings and farmers deemed essential, we were thankful to fulfill our 2020 season through the COVID-19 pandemic,” said Casey Cutler, executive director of Good Local Markets.
The market will continue implementing safety precautions, such as spacing booths 10 feet apart, installing sanitation stations and requiring shoppers to wear masks.
Don’t forget, the Lakewood Village farmers market at 6434 E. Mockingbird Lane returns from its winter hiatus Sunday.
