The vintage store, formerly home to old Jack Retro, opened in summer 2022 and closed nearly two years later.

Despite closing their Greenville Avenue location, the company maintains operation at its second shop in Grand Prairie called Pandemic Vintage, where they will relocate all inventory, manager Ricky Luis said.

“[We’re] just relocating because the rent was kind of expensive so we were looking for another place and because the traffic was slow over there,” Luis said. “There was not a lot of people walking [in] so yeah, it wasn’t worth it anymore.”

America 70’s sold vintage T-shirts, caps, clothing items with graphic prints, bands and professional sports teams.

The store was one of the several other resale/vintage shops near Lower Greenville, including Buffalo Exchange, Uptown Cheapskate, 2nd Street Lower Greenville and Crossroads Trading
