Neighbor Lilia Estrada got this picture of Melissa Stockwell of Chicago running in the MetroPCS White Rock Marathon. Stockton lost her left leg to a roadside bomb in the Iraq War in 2004, and she completed the half marathon Sunday.
Stockwell is a motivational speaker who participates in triathlons and half marathons all over the country. She also competed in the Paralympic Games in Beijing two years ago.
