The project that’s bringing public art to North Henderson is ready for round two. Neighbor Scott Trent and the Henderson Art Project are calling for entries. Earlier this year, the project selected eight pieces of art to be installed along the street, and in February, they will select eleven more.

The eight pieces selected last year were all sculptures. This time, the project is accepting seven sculptures and four paintings, which will be installed on Henderson for two years.

A committee will select eleven proposals or completed projects to receive $800 stipends to offset installation costs. Three of those pieces will receive cash awards.

The deadline to submit entries is Feb. 18. There is a $25 entry fee. Get details and download the application at the project’s website.
