Urbano Cafe

The company announced on Facebook Urbano Cafe would remain open under new ownership.

“We have some exciting news about the future of Urbano Cafe! Since we announced our closure earlier this month, a buyer who wants to carry on the business has come forward, and we are delighted to let you know that Urbano will remain open under new ownership,” the cafe posted on Facebook.

Though ownership is changing, everything else will remain the same as the new owners are keeping Urbano’s front-of-house and kitchen teams on board.

“You’ll still enjoy the same great food and see all the familiar faces that have made Urbano such a special place,” Urbano Cafe said.

According to the post, the new owners are local residents and experienced East Dallas restaurateurs
The establishment will continue to run the restaurant through Feb. 17 to ensure a smooth transition to the new ownership.
