Urban Taco closed its Mockingbird Station location.
The restaurant announced the closure on Facebook on March 2.
“We’ve had such a great time serving you from our Mockingbird Station restaurant for the last 16 years, but we’re moving to the cloud!” the restaurant wrote.
While the location has closed, fans can still get Urban Taco from Oomi Kitchen, via pickup at 3510 Ross Ave. or delivery.
In 2017, a decade after opening, Urban Taco moved to a different location within Mockingbird Station, next to the Angelika Theater.
Urban Taco, which sells tacos, tortas, soups, salads, empanadas and quesadillas, previously had a store on McKinney Avenue.
Markus Pineyro, who founded Urban Taco, is also behind Oomi, according to The Dallas Morning News. Oomi opened on Ross in November 2022.
Along with Urban Taco, customers can order from eateries including Paciugo Gelato, Which Wich and Tribal All Day Cafe.
