La Mina is the latest restaurant to open at The Village.
“Tucked into the lowest level of The Drey Hotel, this gem of a restaurant feels like a stylish hideaway,” the restaurant’s website states.
Tony Ibarra, former sous chef at Petra and the Beast, helms the kitchen. The menu features classic Mexican dishes such as chicken in mole, braised guajillo pork, agua chile and tacos with tortillas made from heirloom corn that’s processed in house.
La Mina also has a full cocktail menu focused on tequila and mescal.
The restaurant is open 4-10 p.m. Tuesday-Thursday, 4 p.m.-midnight Friday, 10 a.m.-midnight Saturday and 10 a.m.-10 p.m. Sunday.
