Hotel Palomar and Central 214 have all kinds of fun things planned for movie buffs coming to town next week for the 7th annual Dallas International Film Festival. The festival is from April 4-14 and according to the official website, will “not only bring to Dallas quality independent films, but also recognize, promote and support the imaginative minds behind this universal art form.”

Hotel Palomar General Manager Andrew Wright says in a recent press release “as a partner for several years running, we are excited to elevate the star appeal for this year’s Dallas International Film festival.”

Central 214 and Hotel Palomar are both located across the street from the main festival box office in Mockingbird Station and the Angelika Theater, where many of the films will play.

The hotel is offering two packages for the festivities available April 3-15. Amenities range from dining discounts and screening vouchers to festival passes, access to drive a Ferrari convertible, and a bottle of chilled champagne. Central 214 is also getting into the cinematic spirit by offering various happy hour specials which include movie-themed craft cocktails named “Psycho Smash” and “Citizen Cane” mixed by head bartender Amber West.

Nostalgic filmgoers can see their old favorites at “Sunday Sunset Movie Nights on the Patio.” The free movie series kicks off on April 7 with “Gone With the Wind” on the Central 214 patio. Movies will start at dusk around 9 p.m. but guests are recommended to arrive early for seating. See the full schedule below:
