A unicorn-themed sweet shop that is sure to make this holiday season even more magical is open in Deep Ellum.
Magical Dessert Bar debuted Dec. 1 at 2646 Elm St. next to the rolled ice cream shop, Chills 360. Culture Map reports that the eatery channels the whimsical nature of a unicorn with bright pink walls, glitter and murals that will likely become an Instagram heaven for foodies across city.
And if the decor isn’t Insta worthy enough, the sweets are sure to do the trick. At the soft opening, patrons could purchase unicorn-themed desserts like hot-pink hot chocolate, cupcakes complete with a golden horn and milkshakes topped with a slice of three-layer cake.
A grand opening with a red carpet and a live DJ is scheduled for Dec. 21. And the party wouldn’t be complete without a meet-and-greet with the unicorns.
If meeting a unicorn wasn’t reason enough to attend, 10 guests will win free unicorn milkshakes for a month.
If you are what you eat, a unicorn seems like a pretty good option.
The Magical Dessert Bar is open from 3-10 p.m. Sunday through Thursday and 3-11 p.m. Friday and Saturday. Those hours will extend to 1 p.m. to midnight after the grand opening.
