Some thought it couldn’t be done, but Lakewood’s teeth may be getting whiter and nails more glittery.
The shopping center at Gaston and Abrams experienced two recent departures, with Blow Salon moving north on Abrams near Northwest Highway, and Talulah Belle heading down the street to Live Oak near Skillman. Both owners of those establishments, Kert Platner and Elizabeth Mast respectively, have confirmed that a corporate dental office and a nail salon will replace the hair salon and lifestyle boutique. They will join Zoe’s, Scalini’s, The Heights and Curiosities in the strip.
When these new businesses move in, there will be eight dentists/orthodontists and five nail salons within a mile of the Lakewood shopping center.
