A sign trolling the Houston Astros amid a cheating scandal embodies everything we loved about the Truck Yard and East Dallas.
Earlier this month, the food truck park and beer garden posted a sign outside its Greenville Avenue location that read, “Had a funny sign planned for this week, but the Astros stole it.”
The sign references a Major League Baseball report detailing how Houston stole pitch signals during the 2017 season — the same year the Astros won the World Series.
Let’s hope the Truck Yard hasn’t received too much blowback at its Houston location, which opened in May 2018.
After all, a little sass never hurt anyone.
