Authorities arrested one person after three people were injured in a shooting early Monday at a senior living center in East Dallas.

Officers responded at 1:30 a.m. to the Primrose at Highland Meadows apartment complex in the 2000 block of Highland Road, according to NBC affiliate, Channel 5.

Three adults were taken to a hospital with injures that were not considered life-threatening. Three children who live in the apartment were not harmed, the station reported.

The shooter fled in gray or silver Dodge Challenger. Police tracked the vehicle to the 2900 block of Valentine Street in South Dallas and arrested the person at 2:40 a.m.

It is not clear what led to the shooting. The ABC affiliate, Channel 8, described the shooting as a domestic dispute.
