Jim Schutze of the Observer discusses Willie Nelson, how intelligent Mayor Park Cities may or may not be by using the F-word, and the fun folks on the editorial board at Dallas’ Only Daily Newspaper and their wacky sense of humor. Note to editorial board: I realize that I’m only a yokel who works for a little neighborhood magazine and can’t possibly know anything about this stuff, but it strikes me that there is a huge difference between the road that goes through Central Park in Manhattan and a high speed toll road. ("What?! He’s been to New York?") The photo, by the way, is Central Park and its highway. And, though I’m sure they knew this, there is a movement in Manhattan to ban cars from Central Park.

• The News posted a short story to its web site yesterday morning, "Inquiry appears unlikely to derail toll-road vote." It’s so Kafka-esque that I can’t even begin to figure it out. It also seems to keep appearing and disappearing from the web site.
