Casa Linda Travel will donate $100 to the White Rock Center of Hope for every seven-day Royal Caribbean Cruise it sells this fall.

“This is our way of saying, ‘Keep up the good work,’” says Barbara Martin, one of the agency’s owners. “We wanted to be able to give something back to the community, and this seemed the best way to do it.”

The White Rock Center of Hope is a non-profit, non-denominational agency that has helped more than 43,000 people since it started in 1988. It provides food, clothing, bus passes, rent and utility assistance to needy families.

Cruises sold under the program can be taken in the fall of 1993, or any time in 1994, but must be under deposit by Dec. 15, 1993.

“BULLDOG” HONORED: Farmers New World Life Insurance Company has named neighborhood resident Bill “Bulldog” Cunningham as a Life Sales Champion. He earned the distinction for compiling what the company called an outstanding performance record.
