I dropped by Tony’s this evening for a pick up following Marlena’s enticing write-up about the place in our February issue. They did not disappoint. In fact I discovered that not only do they have great pizza and these heavenly doughy garlic knots, but they also offer an artichoke salads that’s right up my alley — it’s chock full of big artichoke hearts, black olives, prosciutto and cheese all for around $6 (which is nice, considering my electric bill doubled, yes doubled this month, but that’s another story). Compared to other neighborhood eateries of its ilk, Tony’s is a steal.
