Thrifted Threads, a Houston-based second-hand clothing store, is opening a third location in Deep Ellum at 2646 Main St. #630, the company announced on Instagram.
The family-owned store markets itself as “not your average thrift shop,” with the purpose of showing the world how recycled clothing can be both fashionable and environmentally beneficial.
“We are passionate about sourcing unique pieces and bargain deals. We provide our beloved customers the opportunity to have a consistent, high-quality option for their vintage and thrift needs at the lowest rates,” the store said on its website.
Thrifted Threads was founded by Laith Awad, a clothing reseller in 2017 who started the store online before opening a location in Houston’s Montrose District when he was 18, according to Fox 26 Houston.
Customers can expect clothing apparel such as jerseys, jackets, sweatshirts, hats and pants for both men and women. Most of the style in the store is inspired by early 2000s and ’90s street-style fashion.
