The Swiss Avenue Historic District Mother’s Day Home Tour is 10 a.m.-6 p.m. Saturday and noon-6 p.m. Sunday. Tickets are $20 if you buy them before Saturday, and they’re $25 on the days of the tour. There are seven homes on this year’s tour, including Katy and Steve Trent’s 1925 updated Swiss Avenue home, which was featured on the cover of the April Advocate.

On Saturday from 4-8 p.m., Ozona Grill & Bar hosts “PBR for Pups”, a free event that brings together dog lovers and beer drinkers. Participate in a silent auction and raffle benefiting Garland Pawsibilities, a nonprofit rescue group.

Lakewood-based Contemporary Ballet Dallas closes its 10th season with an 8 p.m. performance at the Texas Theatre in Oak Cliff Saturday. Tickets are $12-$25.

The Bishop Lynch High School Brigade’s annual spring market is from 9 a.m.-5 p.m. Saturday.
