The Cedars Food Park at Dallas Heritage Village will hold a grand opening bash Saturday, July 28, to launch Dallas’ venue specifically for food trucks. The event is a collaboration between Dallas Heritage Village and food trucks, and will feature 18 trucks, live entertainment and beer and wine from local venues. The price range of food is between $2-$9 and will partially benefit Dallas Heritage Village. Cedars Food Park will officially be open every Wednesday-Friday for lunch, 11 a.m.-2 p.m. beginning on August 1, and every Thursday, 5-10 p.m., for dinner beginning August 16. The Basically Beethoven Festival continues with musical performances from clarinetist Steven Tsai, pianist Julie Chung and baritone David Grogan at the Texas Discovery Gardens at Fair Park on Sunday, July 29. Doors open at 2 p.m. Recital starts at 2:30 p.m. Feature performance at 3 p.m. Admission is free.
