Friday night from 6-9 p.m. Light Up Lakewood at the Lakewood Shopping Center. Lakewood Pacuigo will compliment festivities with holiday story readings from Mrs. Claus, and Whole Foods will host a concert by Stan Crawford.

Friday and Saturday are the last chances to see Port Twilight, art-directed by East Dallas resident Katherine Owens, at the Undermain Theatre. I saw the play last weekend and it’s fantastic—brilliantly written and well acted, and set on a landscape of funky futuristic and chaotic detail. Port Twilight isn’t for everyone, but if you enjoy a thought provoking, innovative, laugh-inducing work of theatrical art with a somewhat abstract storyline, you’ll thoroughly enjoy this.

Long-haired and heavily-moustached doctor, musician and self-declared “spiritual journeyman” (tell me that description doesn’t at least intrigue) Kenny Davin Fine is giving a free concert at 8 p.m. Saturday at the Lakewood Theater. For your free tickets, you must call 817-886-6095, email kristie@inchorusmarketing.com.

Another spot to grab great gifts from 30 different vendors — maybe even some from our featured designers — is at the St. Bernard Winter Art Fest, Saturday from 10 a.m.-6 p.m.

Winterfest is Saturday at Norbuck — read details here.
