The biggest band ever to come out of Dallas (literally) turns 15 this month, with an anniversary celebration on Oct. 17. at 8 p.m. Neighbor Tim DeLaughter’s group that employs about 25 musicians at a time, seemed like a crazy idea at first. On Saturday, Oct. 17, Stonewall Jackson Elementary School’s fall carnival starts at 1 p.m. and includes rides, a hamster-ball racetrack, a petting zoo and pony rides, face painting, a cake walk and tons of treats.
