Through June 21, Dallas Summer Musicals presents the 2013 Tony Award winning Broadway Musical Rodgers & Hammerstein’s “Cinderella” at the Music Hall at Fair Park. With its fresh new take on the beloved tale of a young woman who is transformed from a chambermaid into a princess, this hilarious and romantic fairytale combines the story’s classic elements — glass slippers, pumpkin, and a beautiful ball — along with some surprising twists. This Sunday, June 14, the musicians of Dallas Symphony Orchestra will host a concert to benefit Dallas CASA, a nonprofit that advocates for children in foster care. Enjoy Mozart’s Sinfonia Concertante for violin and viola conducted by Gerhardt Zimmerman alongside soloists Angela Fuller-Heyde and Ann Marie Brink, who also serve as CASA volunteers. The event is at the Meadows School for the Arts at 6101 Bishop. The event is free.

Through July 2, the Dallas Arboretum is hosting its annual concert series. Every Thursday night, the Arboretum hosts a different band on the Martin Rutchik Concert Stage and Lawn. Bring your family and friends and your favorite food and drinks, and enjoy a concert overlooking White Rock Lake. All fall concerts are from 7 p.m.-9 p.m. Gates open at 6 p.m. The

Vickery Meadow Good Local Market will set up shop in the parking lot of the Flagship HPB every Sunday, from 10 a.m.-3 p.m. The market provides a connection between local farmers, food producers and craftsmen within our community.
