Aug. 8 through Sept. 5, the East Dallas-based Creative Arts Center of Dallas presents its annual juried art show at the Mary Tomás Gallery in the Dallas Design District. An opening reception is this Saturday from 5-8 p.m.  The show includes sculpture, mosaic, glass, painting, photography, ceramics and mixed media. Mary Tomás Gallery is at 1110 Dragon. See the photo exhibit “Wild and Peaceful” running through Sept. 26. Neighborhood artist Anna Palmer has been photographing wildlife and landscapes at White Rock Lake for several years.
