Here’s a party with beer: The Deep Ellum Brewing Co., which is expected to open as soon as three months from now, is hosting a party , “Deep Ellum Brew-B-Q”, from 6-9 p.m. Friday at Mokah Coffee Bar. They’ll have live music, food and beer. Try all of their brews for $15.

White Rock Local’s “everything market” is from 8 a.m.-1 p.m. Saturday, June 11.

A slow group bike ride around White Rock Lake to celebrate the lake’s centennial starts at 10 a.m. Saturday at the Boathouse.

This isn’t quite in the neighborhood, but it’s worth mentioning that Bike Friendly Oak Cliff is leading a historical group ride Sunday. “Hellhound on My Trail” will tour sites related to Dallas’ musical heritage, including Deep Ellum and the building downtown where Robert Johnson recorded “Hellhound on my Trail”. The ride starts at Dealey Plaza at 1:30 p.m., follows a 9.2 mile course, and ends in Oak Cliff. But Lakewooders could peel off in Deep Ellum and skip the Oak Cliff part.
