The Village in East Dallas will host “Fiesta de Musica,” a Cinco de Mayo celebration, featuring an eclectic live concert performance at Glen Lawn, located at 5605 Village Glen Drive. The event takes place on May 5, and will showcase music inspired by Selena and Shakira.
Musical performance by Grupo La Flor, a Selena tribute band and Voz Descalza, a Shakira tribute band will be from 5 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. The event also includes food and beverages like tacos and margaritas from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m.Â
DJ Serb will play before and after the tribute band performances. Following the show, La Mina, located at 5630 Village Glen Drive, will host an after-party from 9 p.m. to 12 a.m. to close the celebration.
Tickets are available online, with early bird Villager tickets for $10 until April 15, general admission tickets at $25 and VIP tickets at $100.
The Village Dallas, an East Dallas landmark since 1968, provides a residential community on a 300-acre property featuring walkable trails, a lake, sports fields, gardens and grassy meadows. Additionally, the Village consists of a dining, retail and hospitality district, for both residents and the public to enjoy. Â
