The Quaint Home Gallery lasted almost four years in the renovated shopping strip on Junius Street nextdoor to the Garden Cafe. But the crummy economy is forcing its owner to downsize. Jeanine Michna-Bales is moving her store to Found Antiques, 1225 N. Industrial Blvd., by the end of April.
Michna-Bales’s booth at Found will sell Mission and Arts-and-Crafts style antiques, including furniture, textiles, metalware, tiles and books. She will no longer sell reproduction furniture, but will still offer Moon Alley candles, Motawi tiles, and Pewabic, Hog Hill and Teco pottery.
