Get ready for more lawn watering restrictions. The Texas House, in a not so surprising fit of anti-Dallas pique, has killed plans the city has to build reservoirs in East Texas.
One reason? The flagrant way we waste water. Dallas residents use more water than anyone else in the state, and by a substantial margin. "It’s really difficult for people in my area of the state to understand why we need to flood our property in order for another region to continue to be wasteful," said Rep. Stephen Frost, D-Atlanta.
