It will offer an all-day menu, weekend brunch and happy hour specials.

Chef Eric Freidline of Dallas has created new items for the restaurant, such as crab dip with trout caviar and crispy olive oil and Yukon potato waffle; shakshuka; Bombay chicken tikka pizza; and Japanese A5 ribeye katsu sandwich.

The Finch, from Milkshake Concepts, will also feature a raw bar and fresh-caught seafood, in addition to daily plates, such as a handmade pasta of the day and prime rib.

East Dallas is the third location for The Finch, with others in Grand Prairie and Nashville.

“We believe The Finch will become a mainstay for Dallasites — a comfortable place you’ll gravitate toward several times a week, for an intimate date night, laid-back brunch, business lunch or a drink or two during our exceptional happy hour, with good friends after work,” Imran Sheikh, CEO of Milkshake Concepts, says in a press release. Milkshake Concepts is the group behind Stirr, Harper’s, Vidorra and others.

The official opening is slated for mid-November. It will be open 11 a.m.-midnight Monday-Thursday, 11-1 a.m. Friday, 10-1 a.m. Saturday and 10 a.m.-10 p.m. Sunday. Happy hour specials on cocktails, sparkling wine, starters and oysters are offered 3-6 p.m. weekdays.
