Dallas police arrested and charged a 24-year-old man with murder following a fatal shooting in East Dallas on Sunday morning.

At approximately 10:10 a.m., officers responded to a shooting call in the 4100 block of N. Central Expressway, where they found a man shot in a breezeway. The man was pronounced dead at the scene by Dallas Fire-Rescue.

According to police, suspect Davondrick Ross was arrested in connection with the shooting. An investigation determined Ross and the victim got into an argument and Ross shot the man. The individual’s identity will not be released until the victim’s family has been notified.

Early Monday morning, Ross was booked into the Dallas County jail with a bond set at $500,5000, according to online records.
