Today is Super Tuesday — the day when most states, including Texas, hold their primary elections. Here’s what to know about voting.
The polls are open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Find a location via the Texas Secretary of State or Dallas County Elections websites.
Also, thank goodness for the Texas Tribune, where it’s easy to look up your ballot. You’ll find races to watch and results in previous presidential elections.
Although much of the hype is centered on the Democratic presidential primary, keep an eye on this local race. Five Republicans, including East Dallas resident Genevieve Collins, are vying to take on M Streets neighbor and U.S. Rep. Colin Allred, who flipped the seat blue in 2018.
Many East Dallas neighbors already did their civic duty during the early voting period. Check out these lines outside the Lakewood Branch Library on the last day of early voting.
