In the spirit of the State Fair of Texas, the shopping center is organizing a three-day Station Fair from Oct. 16-18.

It will feature Instagram spots, games — such as giant Jenga and cornhole — and a real-life unicorn that will make your photos truly magical.

No event would be complete without fair food. Mockingbird Station is partnering with Corn Dog with No Name to make corn dogs, funnel cakes and more. Beer and other alcoholic beverages will be available for purchase.

The state fair was canceled this year because of the coronavirus, but it is welcoming smaller groups of people to participate in a drive-thru event. For up to $99, guests can eat their fill of fair food and take pictures with Big Tex.

Unlike the drive-thru fair, admission and games at the Station Fair are free. Plus you won’t have to risk running out of gas while waiting to enter the fairgrounds.

All activities will be outdoors, but guests are welcome to go inside any of the shops. Attendees are encouraged to remain 6 feet apart, wear masks and use the hand sanitizing stations throughout the venue.

Food and beverage vendors will wear masks and gloves. All purchases must be made via card.
