The St. Francis Avenue bridge over Interstate 30 is temporarily closed for repairs, according to the Texas Department of Transportation.
Lanes in both directions closed at 8 a.m. Monday and will not open until noon Tuesday. Northbound traffic on the bridge will be reduced to one lane until May 1.
Detours will be marked and message boards will alert drivers. Motorists should expect delays and seek alternate routes.
Expect additional detours and delays near the area in the coming days. Westbound I-30 lanes at St. Francis Avenue will be closed Wednesday at 10 p.m. until 5 a.m. Thursday.
