A Lower Greenville neighbor was named to Forbes‘ 2021 list of America’s top women wealth advisors.

Sonja Blumoff ranked No. 922 on the list of 1,000 women. She was No. 46 out of the 52 advisors from Texas.

Her minimum account size for new businesses is $250,000, and the typical size of household accounts is $3-5 million.

She was also named to the 2020 list, which is created using an algorithm of qualitative and quantitative methods. All advisors must have a least seven years of experience, be nominated by their firm, complete an online survey and have an acceptable compliance record.

Blumoff has 17 years of experience as a wealth management advisor at Merrill Lynch. She serves as senior vice president at her firm Cecil, Blumoff & Associates, a Merrill team committed to total wealth management and individualized investing and planning strategies.

She received a bachelor’s degree from Southern Methodist University and a master’s degree from the University of North Texas.
