Not good news if the road work is really supposed to be done this week. At 9:30 this morning, crews were blacktopping one lane on on the northbound side just below Vanderbilt, mostly in front of Tietze Park. If someone with more construction expertise can explain how they’ll finish by Saturday, let us know.

Traffic on Skillman was reduced to two lanes, one each way, between Richmond or so and Mockingbird. Plus, there was only one lane going southbound on the north side of Mockingbird, and traffic was backed up a couple of blocks. That meant the left turn lane wasn’t open.

And, as long as I’m doing traffic reports: Most of the checkout lanes at the Greenville Whole Foods were open, but the store wasn’t too busy. On the other hand, the Central Market parking lot looked to be overflowing already.
