No injuries were reported in a robbery and shooting at Whole Foods Wednesday at about 12:40 p.m.

Advocate photographer Danny Fulgencio pulled into the parking lot when he noticed half of it was roped off. He overheard that police were investigating a robbery and shooting, and that the perpetrator fled the parking lot.

According to the Dallas Police Department, a Dallas ISD officer saw a robbery in the parking lot. The suspect attempted to run over the  officer as he fled Whole Foods in a gray Infiniti.

The officer fired shots at the suspect, who then struck the officer’s vehicle before driving away.

The suspect is described as a Latin male who is in his 30s. Police described him as of average build and height, with a well-groomed beard.
