The restaurant at 2807 Elm St. closed in early 2020 before the pandemic for renovations.

The eatery is serious about giving customers an enhanced dining experience and will reopen with 150 more seats, a new dining room and a DJ on the weekend, Eater reported.

The Old Monk at 2847 N. Henderson Ave. also reopened Sept. 16 with additional seating. The British pub added a parklet to create more outdoor seating and “snugs,” enclosed booths made from stained-glass windows that once adorned Idle Rich in Uptown, D Magazine reported.

The private booths are intended to slow transmission of the coronavirus, much like plexiglass dividers at schools and restaurants.

Lounge Here at 9028 Garland Road reopened Sept. 17 with limited hours, 4 p.m. to midnight Thursday through Saturday. Expect QR-code menus and plexiglass dividers, according to D Magazine. Reservations are recommended.
