Not much you need to know about school this week, other than it’ll be out on Thursday and Friday, but here’s a couple other little tidbits:
- Woodrow Wilson’s football team played at the AT&T Cowboys Stadium in Arlington on Friday. They lost 42-7 to Mesquite’s Poteet High School, but that didn’t stop the wash of support on the Woodrow Facebook page from Woodrow parents and alum congratulating them on a great year. Below are some of the photos posted to the Facebook page.
- Lakehill Prep adopted a corner of White Rock Lake that they clean up every second Saturday during Shoreline Spruce Up with For the Love of the Lake. On National Day of Service on Saturday, Nov. 23, a group of volunteers from the school gathered to do their part in keeping the lake clean.
- Lakewood Elementary School is looking for parent volunteers to help with the 3rd and 4th graders.
