It’s not just decorative gourd season. It’s also school carnival season. Two are coming up this weekend.
Alex Sanger Elementary School’s “Sanger Stampede” carnival is from 4-8 p.m. Friday, Oct. 19. There will be food, bounce houses, an obstacle course, face painting, games and bobbing for apples.
The Stonewall Jackson Elementary School carnival is from 1-5 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 20. Expect rides, games, face painting, music, cake walk and dunk tank.
