It’s the nephew of the popular Tex-Mex restaurant Uncle Julio’s (well, not really, but this Pegasus News article explains the familial connection). I’ve watched this former brake repair shop turn into a new taco joint over the last couple of weeks — the most recent addition was wooden benches (that could become outdoor tables?) built around the poles that support the awning.

Rusty Taco hasn’t yet announced it’s opening date; its Facebook page suggests that it will open before Easter, with a comment stating that "Lent will be just about over for all you beer deprived." The menu includes nine different yummy-sounding tacos plus breakfast taco options, each for $2. The most expensive thing on the menu is the margaritas, $5 for either frozen or on the rocks.
